Wayne has posted on here from his position as Chief Scout. He has provided news which we have not had access to via any official channels in recent times ( other than when it hits the Guardian ).

We moan that we dont get any communications and then are a little hostile to the poster when we do get info.

I know feelings are running high but a little curtesy could be shown especially when the posts are of the nature made in this case and the poster just wants to speak on football matters.

Just to be clear, I am of a Phoenix persuasion and will not be going to Stafford or any other 'home' to watch JRFC.
I dont see these posts as diversionary - just an insite of what is happening behind the scenes regarding the team.

Agree with all this. Even if he is on the JR side of the fence at least it's information coming out of the club. This is something we have (rightfully) moaned about for a long time!
The official site is so out of date for information that I could still book the VS for an end of season party!

Evidently you do not look at the official site - as all Victoria Stadium information has been removed - I know this as I did it! I am currently enduring an overhaul of the site! as I am the sole member of the site that is active on it! as Noel stepped down.

I endevour to keep the site up and running rather than take it off line to overhaul all the changes.

I try my best - but its obviously not good enough.

Wayne,

Thank you (genuinely) for the football related updates. Football is what first attracted me to Vics and football is what has provided me with so many special memories of this Club.

Unfortunately, from my perspective (and it pains me to say this), football is becoming less and less relevant at Vics. Football has been completely overshadowed by what is nothing short of a shambles off the field.

Football, as a fan, should be my number one concern at Vics. However at the moment, football is the very least of my concerns. Right now I just can't about football when it comes to Vics and I can only apologise for being so negative in response to what is an excellent communication from a footballing perspective.

As it stands, next season is going to be awful for myself and many other loyal and long suffering Vics Fans. I wont be attending home games at Stafford next season as recent developments off the field have pushed many of us over the edge - I don't feel I can be a part of this Club anymore and believe me it hurts to say that.

It sounds as though Jim will be making up the shortfall in the playing budget from his own back pocket. This demonstrates that he isn't about to change and that our problems will continue.

Over the last two years, this Club's most important outgoing has been the £2,500 per month required to service the CVA, not the playing budget. If there isn't enough cash to pay the players after the CVA has been paid, then we can't afford to pay players and that means they shouldn't have been signed in the first place.

Yes, it would mean the Club has to operate with a less competitive playing budget, but it would keep fans on side and would go some way to rebuilding the Clubs shattered reputation within the local community and in wider footballing circles.

Whatever Jim has ploughed into the Club to finance this season's playing budget has been completely wasted - We've been relegated for breach of financial rules (again). What genuinely frightens me is that all along Jim must have known the CVA was technically in default and must have been acutely aware of the potential sanctions from the League when this was brought to a head, yet he has still allowed the Club's management to assemble a squad that we can't afford.

Again, I can only apologise for such negativity following a good quality and especially rare piece of communication to the fans regarding Club matters. However, these are my honest views and views that I back very strongly.

Lets put this one to bed quickly. We are starting in the EVO STIK DIVISION 1, what we dont yet know if it is the North or the South. that will not be decided until the 25th May when the league constitutions are made up.

Regarding the other questions posed by FCB, I decided to post on here because I thought in my humble opinion that I was addressing LOYAL supporters and keeping them up to date about FOOTBALL matters however if you are of the majority and feel it better that I dont post I will respect that and stop posting.

Regarding the other items I did in my opening post say "that I will be the link between you the Loyal Supporters and the changing room" what goes on off the pitch is discussed in the boardroom and not the changing room. Regrettably I am not part of the Boardroom so therefore cannot answer them.

Wayne, people on here are LOYAL supporters, and as such would appreciate your efforts to inform upon FOOTBALL matters. As loyal supporters, however, many people are sick to the back teeth of what this once proud club has been reduced to! Your unpaid duties teamwise are highly commendable, but may well be to no avail. You say that JRFC will start in the Evostick 1st but that is most unlikely, the CVA has failed and it is almost certain that the club will be wound up (Chester City were under similar circumstances!). Would you be willig able to offer your considerable services to a "Pheonix" Vics club, run by the LOYAL fans for the fans (and within it's means)?

Are you sure you've removed all the info?? I've just found this info quite easily -
SPECIAL OCCASIONS

Superb facilities available for Civil Wedding Ceremonies and receptions.

Private Events and Family Celebrations.

Football Pitch Hire.

Tel 01606 815200.
And on the same number I can still book pre match meals-yum yum!

Evidently your wrong on that point.

Plus side theres some cracking 'old' photos on their which bring back memories-good work on that front.

Anyway back onto the football, thanks Wayne and I look forward to the next update in due course.
Finally we have some communication coming out of the club which is something we've been bemoaning about for some time so thanks again.
