Supporters Trust / Open Meeting - Thursday 3 May 1 year 3 weeks ago #96771

The Trust Board met again tonight, primarily to agree the content and format of the next scheduled meeting which is to take place next Thursday evening, 3rd May, at Lostock Social Club.

As has been explained previously, the first part of the event will be a Trust-members only meeting, the purpose of which will be to ratify to rule-changes that were agreed at the last Trust meeting held on 29 March. This will start at 7.30pm.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank those members who have already voted via e-mail or instructed the Trust to vote on their behalf by proxy.

Following the Trust Members meeting, there will be an open meeting starting at 8pm. This will cover the following:

• An update on progress against the six point plan / actions
• Presentation of the draft business plan to establish a successor / new club (should it be needed)
• General discussion on next steps

Given the current fluid situation regarding the future of the club, then irrespective of your own view of the Trust and what you may think our objectives may be, we would encourage all supporters of the club to attend this event and to make their thoughts and views known in an open and democratic forum.

Thank you for the update James.

I would reiterate your last comment, I would urge ALL supporters to attend this OPEN meeting as it is exactly what we need. To be blunt, I know the fans that would not normally attend a meeting called for by the Trust and I also know the fans that would not normally attend one called for by the 'OSC'. However you are all dedicated Vics fans, albeit with different opinions, and if you care about the future of Northwich Victoria then I would ask that we could all gather to see how we could possibly move forward.

Thank you

Has Mr Rushe been invited to tonights meeting as I would like to hear what plans he has for the future of the club to make a more informed decision re a phoenix club. Have the Trust approached him? and if so, what was his response. Ditto the OSC.

Thanks
