We already know about the Barratt estate it was one of the reasons we decided on the site. The site we have chosen we feel will be ideal for everyone including old and new supporters alike.

People involved in the project know about the exact site and at the meeting in 4 weeks we will give that information out. Due to the confidential nature of some of the information we have, all parties have agreed to wait until then.

The situation that has occurred recently for the club has no bearing on the building of the complex as it is being built to house the Football Club not for the Club to own.

It will also house the Northwich Victoria Supporters Club as well as the additional buildings for the Juniors and Women's team. The building of the stadium also enables the building of the community sections as well.

As to the comment from Jim I know he knows all the ideas and plans and so the comment is of no consequence to the situation. Maybe you should ask him or the people he spoke to about the comment.

I hope that clears it up for you. Also do you have to use stupid names in the threads it would show you are a bit more grown up if you didn't lower yourself to do so. It just makes you look childish when you do it.

Not unlike proposing to build a new Old Trafford for 50p does for yourself then.

Lets suppose for one moment that the new stadium is built. What happens if the Jim Rushe owned club should cease to exist before the stadium is built? Would the new stadium be handed over to a Supporters Trust - not to own, but to house a new football club run by the Supporters Trust? I am just asking for clarification, as I still cannot see how Jim Rushe will be able to continue the funding of the existing club next season with dwindling support and with little or no income. Perhaps NVN would care to commment and perhaps he should now be talking directly to the Supporters Trust (if he is under no obligation to Jim Rushe) as surely he would not want to build and be left with a 'white elephant' of a stadium in case the exisiting club folds either before or during next season.
