People are so quick to snipe Steve, but everyone on here are so set against Jim Rushe, anything that is associated with him is soon the devil.

Steve has taken his time to come on here and tell everyone his plans and hopes, and is being optimistic. I for one second his comments.

People are so concerned to know his past, but why is this relevant? Do you need to know everything about a man, that is just trying his best to help?

Steve went under the Trust's nose, the only existing Vics supporters group. Very unprofessional in my eyes.

For what it's worth, I'm not sure that many people see Steve as the devil. He hasn't done much to earn the level of contempt that Jim has.

Maybe he will in the future. Maybe he won't. But past experience of outsiders coming in to "help" our club have been nothing short of catastrophic so I'll just keep the champagne and party poppers for our much-heralded new beginning in the cupboard for now.

Jason, this is a genuine question - I don't really have time to be asking questions I know the answer to - can you tell me why you still back Jim Rushe? Is there something fundamental that the majority of us on here just cannot see?

I think someone else has also mentioned this but, with the exception of Colin I've not read or heard ANY fan that still backs Jim Rushe explain why that is the case.

Sorry if it feels like you're being singled out. You're not, but very few other JR-backers post on here.....even if a few still lurk to read to keep an eye on the old enemy.

You have to worry when someone makes a statement like that.

How can you trust someone who says don't judge me on what I have done in the past :( :( :(

Thanks for your efforts mate, nothing achieved so please move along.

Have the Supporters Trust Board offically invited Steve McNally to attend the next Supporters Trust open meeting on 3rd May? Surely even Steve McNally must realise that the Supporters Trust represents a significant number of fans who all share the same opinion. That is why he has been coming onto this forum to give us his 'news'. His plans haven't got a 'cat in hells chance' of succeeding if the fan base still remains divided. He surely must realise that he needs 100% support with or without the direct assistance of the Supporters Trust, otherwise he will not succeed. His idea of a new ground ownership seperate from the running of the club is nothing new. However, what is the point of having new ground with little or no support? Will he start to talk directly to the Supporters Trust Board when the existing club ceases to exist, after the appeal to the F.A. on Tuesday fails? Not many people, including myself, will support a Jim Rushe owned club in the North West Counties league after all that has happened.

He was invited to the last one and even offered a 10 minute slot to air his views.

The relevant question really is;

'Did Mr McNally make any real attempt to engage with the Supporters Trust when first deciding to become involved with Northwich Victoria?' with a follow-up of 'If not, why not?'
