Trust Board Statement 1 year 1 month ago #94804

It is with a great deal of regret but no little surprise that the Trust Board view today's news regarding the action that has been taken against the club.

We fully recognise that many supporters will be extremely worried about this development and the implications it has for the club that we all love and support passionately.

It goes without saying that we will be taking immediate steps to contact the Chairman of the Football Club, The Evostick League and the footballing authorities to discuss the current situation and how this amy affect the future existence of the Vics.

The Trust Board was due to meet next Wednesday evening, but because of today's events we are also planning to have an emergency session tomorrow afternoon. Indeed, the situation is very fluid at present and is likey to remain so. But, as ever, we will try and advise fans and Members of the latest situation and our plans as soon as possible.

However, what we would urge ALL Vics fans to do is to become members of the Trust. As you know the Trust is democratically run and it is important that the views of the whole range of the fanbase are considered. Every member has the same power - one member - one vote. It is the membership which sets the direction of the Trust and the more members we have hopefully the more representative the trust actions will be.

Just so everyone can have a balanced view of the issue from tomorrow morning, the thread NVFC and the Northwich Victoria Supporters Club will inform you of the comments of another organisations feelings on the situation and it also offers membership at the moment.

The memberships at the moment are free, at present, and will be available from the web site later next week.

Still using the Trust froum to promote your propaganda, the very organisation that you have tried to discredit, how pathetic you are.
You may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing we call 'failure' is not the falling down, but the staying down

Later next week! - you've had nearly 2 weeks since the start of this thread alone, what HAVE you been doing Steve.

Oh and speaking of the official site, if I were you I'd get rid of the links to the banqueting suite, the carvery and the conferencing facilities, not to mention the "What's on at the VS banner" scrolling across the top of the homepage, unless of course you add the word's "not much". It says click here for information - but when you do - nothing happens! Hmm, I suppose it's 95% there and just needs the final touches (it does seem to have been like that for a long time now though).
