As a bit of light relief and to give some focus to what we all care so passionately about, it's that time of year again and we will be collecting votes for the Player of the Season.

I will have voting slips ready for the match on Thursday night and at all subsequent home games.

There will be two awards this year - Supporters' Player of the Season and Goal of the Season.

In the past, we have given you a choice of five goals to select from. Do you want us to that again this year, or leave it open for you to nominate your own favourite? Please let me know your preference before Thursday lunchtime, so I can get the slips printed.

The voting is open to all fans and there will be a collection box available as you come through the gate at Nantwich and behind the goal at half time.

Serious Question Maggie, If NVFC will not deal with the Trust (as stated by NVN) will it be possible to gain access to the players at the end of the season to make a presentation?

I remember under Mike Connett the Trust were frozen out and had no contact with the players

I can confirm that the Player of the Season / Goal of the Season slips will be available at all remaining home matches, starting tonight and the presentation is currently planned for the last home match on 17th April.
