You couldn't have summed it better John. The problem at the moment is the supporters have only had one voice talking to them and going against the club when doing so.
In todays 'The Non-League Paper' on the back page it has a piece about the Trusts new club and how Vics fans want a new club.
I believe only a few and mainly on this forum and within the board of the Trust want a new club. Most just want the club stabilised and in a stadium in Northwich.
Hopefully tomorrow will make everything clearer and put the majority of the fans mind at rest over the future.
This doesn't mean that Jim has sold the club or a white knight has come in or that it's gone bust. It means there will be a direction the club is going in and with the support of the fans.
I have had meetings in recent weeks with supporters. I have also had discussions with companies who will be involved in the future plans of the club as well as Town and County councils. This has all been done in confidence until tomorrow.
I have also been assisted by Jim Rushe at all stages because contrary to what some people on this forum feel he believes in this club and wants it to succeed. Many of the ideas and ethos are based on his feelings for the club.
The reason I didn't go to the meeting on Thursday is it was meeting to discuss a new club no matter how the trust want it put forward and today's piece in the paper indicates that. I also didn't want any abuse as happens on this forum.
I believe the plans will show a common sense approach to the future with the fans fully involved as well as the local community. The community doesn't have to own a football club to follow it it just has to believe in it and I think that will be shown from tomorrow.
I will use this post to inform the fans on here and hope they get involved in what I believe will be a new start for everyone at and connected to the Club.
