The history of 'the club'isnt at companies house, or in a title deed or any other legal document. Its in the hearts of us the fans. We 'own it' and always will do. You say a Phoenix club will have no connection with NVFC - maybe legally not but when you stand on the terraces with your fellow supporters of YOUR team and see the same faces you have done for decades ( and all the welcome new faces that will join us )you will feel the history of the cup runs of 76 and 2004 because you were there and part of it, of Wembley in 83 and the Victoria Ground in 84, of Orient, of Wycombe in the Drinkwise etc etc etc. You can not take that from us - we are the spirit of the club, we own the history and WE WILL CREATE THE FUTURE - whatever pathway we want to take.

A phoenix club in direct opposition to the current club would have no connection to NVFC!
I am totally against the way Jim has run the club and over the last 2 years I have been very vocal with regard to how he has run the club, probably more vocal than anybody (If only people had listened to me!) but like under Connett I continued to support NVFC and will do until the end.
I will give my support to a phoenix club if that becomes the worse case scenario and NVFC dies but I would be totally against setting up a new club in the town while NVFC still exists (This would be no different than what those Kopite scumbags did in 1892)
