Jesus Christ the Thatch Tavern would give Winsford a good game. The Wembley game of '96 and Drink Wise success Vs Wycombe seem light years away and all the great players of yesteryear must be spinning in their graves. The thread heading should read The Once Mighty Vics.

Vics won 3-2 with one goal being the longest og I have ever seen, Was pleasantly surprised with some good football played on the floor.

Agree with that phil. The centre forward looked good and took both of his goals really well. Tough test though ahead on saturday though.
