I disagree. Politics is everything to do with sport. Look at the far right movements in Ukranian football who use the sport to get their message across and spread their fear and violence towards even their own BLACK fans. The whole idea of a new club is politics, we are going from having a chairman/directors to wanting fan ownership which is a very much left wing principle.

Anyway I don't want to get into a politics discussion.

The 1936 political overture did not go too well for Hitler with Jesse Owens winning all those gold medals!

Can anyone recall the last club to actually go under and not be resurrected in some shape or form? Even Aldershot, Scarborough and Bradford PA have been given CPR and are now back.

Clubs don't die, because all clubs are is the fans. Owners and players come and go, they're merely temporary custodians.
If the fans end up using jumpers for goalposts and playing in a pub league, the club is still going. And sooner or later, it will be back at its rightful level.

Leigh RMI spring to mind, Scarborough is actually 2 clubs now as the fan base split.
