I just find it incredible that NVFC are still going.
Everywhere you look, there are businesses closing down that are in a lot less debt, have a far greater income stream and actually ran properly.
Football clubs generally have amazing perseverance and longevity. I read somewhere that 95% of the top 100 businesses which existed a century ago have gone under, whereas 95% of the football clubs still exist! No other industry compares.
Can anyone recall the last club to actually go under and not be resurrected in some shape or form? Even Aldershot, Scarborough and Bradford PA have been given CPR and are now back.
Clubs don't die, because all clubs are is the fans. Owners and players come and go, they're merely temporary custodians.
If the fans end up using jumpers for goalposts and playing in a pub league, the club is still going. And sooner or later, it will be back at its rightful level.
